How can I control the amount of information printed when I print out a trip? I have a long trip and the printed directions are almost 30 pages (mostly wasted space). The equivalent trip in MS Street and Trips is only 3 pages - much more manageable, IMHO.

I don't print trips with TLDCN for that reason either. I don't recall much configurability in the limited user guide.
Other programs besides Microsoft Streets and Trips allow customization of what to print. In my case I use the waypoints (stops and such)from the final TLDCN route and enter them into my vehicle GPS (I use a Pioneer AVIC-Z1) so I have avoided the need to print the maps out. The GPS tends to pick the same route so it's just another tool in my traveler's war chest.
I would recommend you contact Undertow tech support and see if there are some tricks and tips for reducing the print out. We would appreciate it you post your findings for the rest of us.
