POI stop displaying

I updated to the latest version 2012-00-00-76 and the POI files won't display. Even tried the rest stop POI provide with the program and no go. I go to the User POI screen and add the file US_RESTAREAS.UPI and nothing is displayed, tied others which use to display and nothing. What's wrong here??

While I wish it wouldn't happen sometimes an update will change your settings... check the following:

From the menu, click on File, slide down to "Program Settings" and click that. Then when a new "Program Options" window shows up, look in the "Display Below (miles/inch) and make sure the box next to "User POIs" is checkmarked and note the scale setting for when the User POIs will show up.

It this looks good and your map scale is AT or Less than the scale in the above option and you still don't see them, then from the Menu, click on "User", slide down to "User POIs..." and click on that. A new "Import User POI"window shows up. Make sure the "Currently Installed POI Files:" box shows the POIs you want AND the box on the right under "Show on Map?" has a green checkmark. The "Display Options for all User POI files" box should also have a checkmark for "Show Selected POIs on Map" and the scale should match the Program Options.

After this, I don't know why they don't show up.

Makes sense.

You told the program not to display them until the scale was lower than 10 mi/inch, but then wondered why they didn't display when you were at 100 mi/inch.

I do things like this all the time. After I curse at the program and its developers a few times, I usually figure it out :-)
