Does anyone know?

All I know is that it's a Linux type system, but I don't know if there are program that let you run windows programs on it, like some Mac users do.
Does anyone know?

I'm talking over 50 hrs of frustration with nothing to show at the end of the process. So, instead of spending any more time, I returned it and got a system with Windows XP. All my Windows programs are running fine and I am happy
Why would someone want to use ubuntu and then jump through hoops to make it possibly run some of their programs?

Did you use any special settings in ubuntu or wine? How did you make yours to work well?

I don't know, it looks fine on my set-up. What versions of ubuntu and wine are you using? It could be an older video driver, or something like that. I am using the latest release of ubuntu 10.04 (lucid) and wine 1.1.42
No special settings that I know of. I just used all the default settings when installing ubuntu, wine and Trailer Life.
